Software Trouble

During installation, there are file links written to the Windows Registry. When installing, be sure to have all other applications shut down, especially anti-virus programs to eliminate the possibility of the registry entries either not being written or being written corrupted.


	If you're having trouble with the software, highlight the prontoedit.exe or prontoupdate.exe file, then right click it, then select properties, then select file links, which will show you what registry entry links have been created.

	Such link problems are also often caused by uninstall programs used for other applications which remove dll files from your system but do not update registry entries.
